The Brief

When VSC approached us, their website was underperforming and their brand conflicted with their market positioning. They also had a brilliant business model, but needed to automate a lot of the work they were doing with their clients to allow them to grow rapidly into their new markets.

Our Thinking

A lot of time was being spent by VSC staff trying to promote their events to traders, and a lot of time was spent processing every trader application for each event. We felt that this was a great opportunity for a single management tool that could market their events, but also create a smooth pipeline for registering new clients. We felt that it was very important that pre-existing clients could apply online to new events, without the need for assistance from VSC staff, while also getting more control of the information were presenting.

What we did

The public facing section of the website is developed as a brochure site for VSC and their services. The content on this site is fully CMS enabled, allowing them to promote new events, publish reviews of past events and communicate to the community international community of Boutique Traders. To allow the registration for events smoother for the VSC staff and the traders, each trader was given a company profile. They add all of their details to the profile so that applying for festivals now only takes a click of a button. The system also keeps track of their legal documents, and will let them know when the are going out of date. These services also benefit the VSC staff who can now vet traders for events in a matter of minutes.

Results
